Hi Academias
Malaysia-based low-cost carrier AirAsia has expressed strong confidence and ambition for the Chinese market by relaunching its flight back to China with four weekly flights from Kuala Lumpur to China on 2nd of March 2023.
China is one of the world’s major economies and the reopening of flights to China is a positive sign for this Airlines and the tourism industry in general to be resuming and growing. Despite as per Air Asia’s CEO Mr Benyamin Ismail on News interview that many of people are still uncertain about the requirements of the Chinese coming back into China, whether you need to be quarantined.
Reportedly Malaysia’s AirAsia X Bhd. has only been able to sell enough tickets from China to fill just half of an aircraft’s seats, unlike ones pre pandemic when 90% of planes were occupied on the same routes. This will be truly Challenge for Air Asia as they resume the second-largest aviation market as it reopens to the outside world.
The destinations reopen are set to relaunch are seven international destinations in China covering Macao, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Kunming, Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Chengdu as its strong rebound continues post-pandemic.
Airsia CEO was saying that they have witnessed tremendous success with our services to China, where Air Asia could carry over 1.8 million guests to/from China in 2019 alone. They believe the recommencement of our services to China will be popular for business travelers, international students, those visiting family and relatives as well as stimulating regional demand between two large markets through great value airfares and services,
And as usual Air Asia is so expert in launching various initiatives of Campaign from tickets shocking prices and well as other marketing campaign. In view of aircraft and team readiness for sure they reconducted many refresher training prior to this relaunch of the routes.
