Code 86 is briefly defined as “understood to be implemented”. If someone says the Siap 86 , then it literally means as “understood Commander, ready to receive the next order.”

CASRCivil Aviation Safety Regulation made by Indonesian Government pursuant to the Aviation Act No. 15/1992.
 
Air Traffic ServiceA service provided by the ATS unit of Indonesia including flight information and alerting information service.
 
AirsideThe movement area of an airport, adjacent terrain and building of portions thereof, access to which is controlled
 
Authorized PersonAny person authorized by Airlines AIR for a particular task
 
CargoAny property carried on a aircraft other than mail, stores and accompanied or mishandled baggage.
 
Carry-on baggageMeans all baggage and articles in the possession of passengers, which are accessible to them in flight.
 
Checked baggageAll baggage, except carry-on baggage, accepted by an airline from ticketed passengers, to which baggage tags are attached at time of check-in.
CrewA person assigned by Airlines AIR for duty on an aircraft during flight time.
 
Director General                                 The Indonesian Director General of Civil Aviation.
 
HijackSeizure of an aircraft by force or threat of force or any form of intimidation.
 
ICAOInternational Civil Aviation Organization.
 
In flightThe operation of an aircraft from the moment when all its external doors are closed following embarkation until the moment when any such door is opened for disembarkation.
 
Known shipperAn agent, freight forwarder or any other who conduct business with Airlines AIR, and provides security controls that are accepted by the appropriate authority in respect of cargo, courier and express parcels or mail.
Law enforcement officer Means person having Policing Authority.
 
Metal detectorMeans an electronic device used to detect metal on person.
 
MinisterThe Minister of Department of Communication Indonesia
 
OperatorA person, organization or enterprise engaged in or offering to engage in an aircraft operation.
 
Person in custodyMeans a person in lawful custody who is compiled to be taken  from one   place to another, in accordance with Indonesia  Regulation.
 
Pilot-in-Command  Pilot designated Airlines Air as Pilot-in-Command and responsible    for the operation and safety of the aircraft, passengers and crew during flight time. The pilot-in-Command has final authority for the disposition of the aircraft.

Means, in relation to person vehicles or goods that are to be given:
 

Secondary screening

Means the physical examination of person baggage or cargo in addition to primary screening.
 
Security controlA means by which the introduction of weapons or articles likely to be utilized to commit an unlawful act can be prevented.
 
Officer Security equipmentDevices of a specialized nature for use, individually or as a part of a system in the prevention or detection of unlawful acts against aviation and its facilities.
 
Restricted areaMeans an area at an airport, access to which is restricted to person issued with a valid access Pen-nit Card.
 
Sterile areaMeans an area access to which person, vehicles and goods are not permitted until clearance is given in relation to aviation security.
 
Transfer Pax/bagPassengers or baggage making direct connection between two different flight.
 
Transit Pax/bagPassenger or baggage departing from an airport on same flight as that which they arrived.
